Childbirth Classes
Birth Care Childbirth Education Classes
Childbirth education classes help to better prepare
you and your husband/partner for your baby’s
birth. The nurse-midwives of Birth Care
request that you attend a childbirth
education class if you are expecting your
first baby or if this is your first
out-of-hospital birth.
Our childbirth education class will include third
trimester changes, relaxation techniques,
preparation for childbirth, comfort
measures, unexpected outcomes, newborn
expectations, breastfeeding and postpartum
expectations.
All childbirth education classes for Birth Care are
held at the Georgetown Office. The classes
are taught by Lisa Benedetto, CNM. There is
one class scheduled per month, always on a
Saturday from 10am-3pm. You do not need to
be a client of Birth Care in order to take
the class.
