PREGNANCY, LABOR & BIRTH
The
Certified Nurse-Midwives at Birth Care
promote family-centered childbirth and
respect a woman's right to control her birth
experience. We
provide prenatal, birth & postpartum care, and
well-baby care through four weeks of life.
We believe in the normalcy and the health of
pregnancy and birth and in every woman's power
to give birth with minimum intervention. We take
special pride in welcoming babies with gentle
and loving hands. Because we want every woman to
the option of birthing where she feels most safe
and comfortable, our Midwives attends births at:
● Our free standing Birth Center
● Your home
● Ephrata Community Hospital

BABIES! HEALTH CARE FOR WOMEN, BY WOMEN
Our
Nurse-Midwives provide full scope, quality women's
health care including:
● Sensitive gynecological care & annual exams, including
problem visits & infertility treatment.
● Premarital & preconception care.
● Family planning services
● Care and counseling for older women facing their
unique health changes. Free Pap tests and Mammograms for
qualifying older women.
● Laboratory testing & medication prescriptions, as well
as on-site ultrasounds.
● Referral to woman-friendly, supportive back-up
physicians if needed.
